Clueless newbie seeking advice
Hello all!

As I'm about to embark on restoring my Defender 90 I thought I'd join this forum to seek some help and advice as I go Very Happy

My 90 is the one with the windows in the back and I wondered if their was any interior trim to fit round the windows? If so, is their a part numer? or where's the best place to order them?
Thanks all Very Happy

When you say "The one with windows in the back" Is it a Hard Top with windows put in after purchase or a Station Wagon with the windows fitted from new at the factory? Also what motor? 200 - 300tdi or TD5?

Very Happy Hi
Neutral Er not sure on the window fitting side as it's a Hazines 57 type jobie. Re built on a Galvansied chassis with a 200tdi engine, with a disk break rear axle (I have no idea what the axle bit means but the OT mentioned it Very Happy )

The roof is sold without thoses long narrow windows and the sides have a long two pices sliding window fitted. Hope that's a bit clearer Very Happy

Ok got some pictures, just see if this works Neutral
This should be a side view of my defender

And this is the inside where I'd like to fit some trim if I can get it, around the window

See if this works before I go any further :)

Killer 90, Ah Confused so they are standard window but because they're not factory fitted their's a chance they won't be aligned compared to the standard inside trim?

They are standard TD5 90 CSW trim.

Dan at Duckworths (site sponsor) will get you a good price on them Thumbs Up

Killer is right, if the windows are not standard then you may have fun getting them to fit.

Can you get some measurements from your 90 so I can compare to mine ?

1. Distance from the rear of the door opening to the frame - take from the flat of the frame - do not include the frame.
2. Outside front to outside back of the window, again on the flats but include the frame.
3. As 2 but top to bottom of the window.
4. Rear corner to the start of the frame (as in 1).

This will give us a good idea on where the windows are fitted and if standard trim will fit.

Bob got its spot on measurements Wink if they are out and trim want work you could consider the mud uk trim panels for a hardtop and you could cut the centers out to fit your windows Thumbs Up CSK Automotive
