Has anyone extended the pipe so that it can drain directly underneath the vehicle rather than run down the gearbox?

i put a few sheets of newspaper under the mats, this soaks up any damp. and change it every month or so

lol...that takes me back a few years...don't suppose you use old underlay under your carpets for sound proofing as well
