Rear seat rake adjustment
Has anyone found a way of adjusting the rake of the rear drop down seats in the puma 90?

Cheers Darren

Bit of an old thread, hopefully enough time has elapsed for someone to have figured how to make the drop down seat backs less upright… 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance

Far Corners have a product:

...but you may find the timeliness of response variable. I have these, they fit/work well, but it took a while to complete the transaction.

Edit: sorry, just noticed the question is about a 90. My answer is probably not relevant!

Just turn up the radio - should drown out any complaints coming from the rear.

For the forward facing folding rear seats in a Puma (3rd row on a 110, 2nd row on a 90), there is a possibility to remove some bushings in the hinges mechanism to recline the seats further. I reckon I gained about 3 to 5° angle between the seat base and seat back in doing so.
Not a world of a difference, but every little help as they say.

I unfortunately do not have any pic, as this was done long ago.
From memory, you need to remove the seat back cover and foam, as well as the plastic part covering the hinge assembly on both sides of the seat. Once done, fold the seat back a few times to understand how the mechanism works and you should realize which bushings shall be removed. For each seat, it's a rubber insert on one side and more of a metal washer that is partly welded around a stud on the other side (just grind it off and remove the metal washer, not the stud).
