All I have is a resonator in mine and it's sounds quite throaty although you can hear the turbo waste gate through it ?
All depends what you want ?

K9F has a real nice S/S exhaust - it looks expensive but it works, his truck really shifts!

Griffin....

It gets rid of the catalytic convertor and the rear box, the centre box instead of having offset inlet/outlet pipes it is straight through.

One of our uk distributors sell a version of our sports exhaust system with only the rear resonator box, as they think its sounds the best!

The problem with removing the center silencer is it does increase the amount of booming within the cabin, but gives an impressive exhaust note. Our performance systems normally come with a straight through middle silencer, and rear resonator, to reduce any unwanted cabin noise, but a straight through mid pipe can be an option. Some say it is too quiet with the silencer, but thats because the noise is coming out the tail pipe and being left behind you, rather than it booming into the cab!

Regards,

Gary.

I have a straight through TIG welded 304 stainless steel centre box from Ian at IRB Developments on my 2007 Puma.

There is some increase in cabin noise but it's a sound that I'm happy with because it's relatively subdued and isn't the tedious boom that I understand some straight through centre boxes produce.

Harry,

Having no catalytic convertor at MOT time is not an issue and has been extensively debated and discussed on here. That is indeed the same company on the e-bay advert. Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Harry,

I am surprised at James for being in the exhaust making business and not being aware of the new 2012 MOT rules regarding the failure of an MOT on 'Sparked Ignition Engines' (NOT diesel) for a missing catalytic convertor. See my post page 2....

With regards to noise see comments page 3 here:
