Any D3/D4/RRS/FFRR Owners Interested in these ????
I know, I know they should be in the for sale bit bit they are not for a Defender and not sure about price so using the hated words used on here "gauging Interest"

Set of 4 19" Rims c/w Goodyear MTR "G4" Tyres 3 with 7.5mm left 1 with 9mm left replaced after a blow out on a French Autoroute.
Some light scratches to 1 rim not kerbed just off road marks.
Excellent grip even on wet tarmac, just a bit iffy on side slopes as every one knows.

I am looking for about £650 for the lot c/w rings to fit to P38 or Disco 2 if you want. Full set of tube style wheel nuts and key to operate them.
They cost new £1,400 the lot somewhere in Warwick. I think it was Silverline doing a deal a few years back. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

If someone was going mad they could even put them on a Defender with a set of those wheel adaptors that were about a couple of years ago, might stick outside the flares abit though. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

You must have D2 or P38 axles under it then If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

19" wheels would fill those arches better Laughing Laughing

I know Wildcats use the D2 axles the front casting and ball joints are even stronger than 7 bolt 110 swivel housings but dont see the advantage of converting them under a Defender. The hub bearing assys are a pain. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

We run them on our challenge cars as well. like you say-massively strong and 4" wider than stock 90/110 axles(my axles are now exactly the same width as before but without wheel spacers) but other than that no real benefit on a road car. Doing car as a rolling advert so will have plenty of mods. Also have a mate in the dealers that changes D2 bearings when they get a ABS faults but mine hasnt got ABS so have a ready supply of suitable hubs/bearings Thumbs Up

Just changed all the corners on the P38 above they had all gone noisy at 130Thou, i went down the cheats route, dealer hubs at £350 a corner i don't think so, smashing the hubs to pieces in a press where the bearings are glued in did not fancy that either so got mine from a low mileage smashed up one, just praying it was not kerbed heavily in the accident but they are silent at the moment. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
