I have the Nakatanenga wheel carrier on my 110 Puma and it is bombproof. The largest wheel I have is 305/70x16 and the carrier takes this with room to spare. Thumbs Up

THanks for that guys.. Thumbs Up

The only other option would be to go with a roof rack that could accomadate a spare wheel.. Maybe start a thread and see if anyone has one like this..

Personally I'd steer clear of putting one on the roof - at least if you're a puny office boy like me - trying to get the best part of a 50Kg dead weight on the roof is no fun - 2 man lift really

We can supply the Nakatananega wheel carrier, single pivot safari equip wheel carrier and the standard safari equip one in various finishes with or without hi lift jack mount, we can also supply the Mantec carriers. If you would like one, we could probably supply to gibraltar. Please just get in touch by pm and we will give you a quote.
Regards
Barbara

I've had a Mantec in the past. Not using an after market wheel carrier now since I upgraded to the later one piece door with the reinforced Land Rover mount on.

The Land Rover mount is fine for current use, but for our Oz expedition we will be wanting to reduce the stress on the door when driving lots of corrugations, so will be needing a new carrier then. Having looked at the others now on the market I still prefer the Mantec - position, weight, finish, cost, etc so will more than likely get another.
