Yes I had a filter on mine and it's pictured in the Snorkel instructions I received. I can't log into Topix, not payed up but won't let me in anyway!

Don't remember there being any filter when I fitted my RAI - just a gap behind the cover Confused
Mine's MY2011 - thought all Pumas were the same - LR strike again Rolling Eyes
Sure you're not thinking of a previous vehicle? I've done that before Embarassed Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Very odd Confused I clearly remember it being in the Snorkel instructions and I managed to get Dinitrol on mine when I was plastering it everywhere whilst fitting the snorkel! It's just a standard filter, side wing vent hole shaped with a red rubbery gasket to it!

PS thanks for looking Bob Thumbs Up

Er... could it have been stuck to the inside of the vent plastic... and easily thrown away with it?
Embarassed

Nope - didn't have one then. Mine just looked like these pics (sort of):

Was your Defender factory-new?

If you specified a "working" vehicle, perhaps LR put an extra filter in (seems unlikely...)
