I can't do that with mine. Theres nothing under the little plastic cover. Is yours a standard radio or have you got an upgraded model? I noticed last year (when i removed it) that the build date sticker on the side of the radio was 2004. Typical LR. 130 crew cab

I knew about that one, i thought you could use the one under the cover. My ECU interferes with the radio reception quite badly so i'm probably going to change the radio anyway. By the way i never look at the manual until i've tried every button first or broken something. 130 crew cab

there are 2 radio versions - one with one without (well certainly in the UK)
There is also an ipod connection pack i understand to plug in the rear. The later MP3 radios are new so shouldnt be made before 06 Mike |

If you look at the LR fitting guide you'll see that the iPod connection pack is a radio re-transmitter that plugs in line with the aerial. Why didn't LR just put a better head unit? 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi ![]() LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

Money, Money, Money. We replaced the speakers and the headunit. LR want like 150£ for the ipod adapter to plug into the rear.

I plugged my iPod into the stereo and could hardly hear anything. Turned up the volume to max and still terrible.
![]() THEN someone pointed out that it might be an idea to turn the volume up on the ipod ![]() ![]() |

Are you using the headphone socket to get the audio out of the iPod? |
