WTD to Borrow Td5 Throttle Pedal Assembly

Hi all,

I am looking for a favour. Basically i have been having a problem with my Td5 for a long while and i want to have a punt at changing something which i think it might be:

I would like to borrow a Td5 Throttle Pedal Assembly from a 2002 (later type). But i need to know thats its working.

I would just buy one, but see it as a massive waste of money if it isnt the problem.

I am in Surrey. If anyone can help please let me know.

2 or 3 pin. i have one here. not sure which one it is though. Cheers

Im just about to take mine off to inspect it and try and clean it up so will let you know.

Not sure what you mean by 2 or 3 Pins as mine has 9 i think.

I did notice that the wiring side Plug has got 3 Pins with no electrical contacts in the Block. One each side low down and the other central up on the higher row in a triangle shape.

Do you know what i mean?

Decided not to remove mine as it seems a PITA to get off with only 1 person so i cant see that well. Current:D4 HSE
