Gun 'Shot'
A good few of you seem to be keen on guns, so thought you might appreciate this shot I took of my pal shooting a 460 S&W Magnum!!

It's really supposed to be fired one-handed whilst uttering a mono-syllabic one-liner in a Yankeee accent. Not to be mistaken with firing two-handed whilst wearing ear defenders, cap, smacker safety specs and lying across a bench for support AND probably sober AND without shouting rude words!

Brings back memories! I thoroughly enjoyed my handgun collection, but they were all taken away following the Dunblane debacle.

I had a S&W .357 Magnum, which was my main competition piece. Amongst others though, was a 2 inch .44 magnum (best for muzzel flash Twisted Evil ) and a 9mm Beretta (a big gun that holds lots of bullets Cool ).

Loads of fun. And vaguely on topic, I used to use my Land Rover of the day to transport them to the ranges Thumbs Up Darren

Likewise Evil or Very Mad

I had a .357, but the Colt Trooper, and a Browning hi-power 9mm Cool

Along with a Dan Wesson .22, mainly used for vermin dispatch.

My wife used to shoot, she had a High Standard .22, Webley Mk VI (that's a 455), and a Lorth 38. Once, for a Christmas present, I bought her a loader and all the bits. I didn't have a licence but that didn't matter as I was only buying the bits needed. It seemed that as soon as you put them together, and make a bullit, you need the licence.

When she was annoyed she used to clean her guns furiously. It was best to stay clear of her then!

Same here, had a few handguns but my favourites were a 4" Colt Python and a 4 3/4" SAA (peacemaker) clone in .45. Happy days.

I used to have a Webley, too. A very civilised firearm. The only .22 I ever owned though, was a Derringer, which served no useful purpose but was fun Laughing

Did some handgun shooting in the States a few years ago (on the way to the airport Laughing ) and was surprised at how easy some guns are to shoot well.

Didn't like any of the Glocks, the 357 and 44 magnums and Colt 45s were fun but seemed a bit inaccurate compared to the favourite of mine, the Beretta 92F 9mm. I wanted to buy one, I was so impressed at how well I could shoot with it.

This was my target @ 30 yards after a magazine full: I went for the head first then the body. Looks like I missed one Whistle

My 92F was by far my favourite. Unloading a full mag into a paper target that clearly deserved it was all the stress relief I ever needed Laughing Darren

hmm no glock mentions but then it is plastic, good ole M1911 aint been in military service for over 50 years for no reason. Then again with a 7 round mag you need to hit what you aim for so maybe not soo good for the UK clowns/police.

Shot both and a few more, the 1911 I liked the most. My yankee friend tells me the M1911 45 ACP stops crackheads on pcp where the 9mm merely irritates them....

sad thing about the knee jerk action is it means only the criminals now have access to them. Although reading the news the imported black africans seem to prefer blades. Anytime on the news you hear of a stabbing its 99% black african crime. They bring their standards with them and life aint worth a damn in africa. Perhaps this is why its getting so bad here, commit robbery in Nigeria they get the death sentance do it in oxford street and you get an increase in benefits cus you are 'deprived' or other such leftist b0llox.

Ok I really must stop reading the mail it makes my blood boil Mr. Green
