You don't need to jack the vehicle at all to change any of the shocks on a defender.

I imagined that LR would have them (unless they'd all been stolen) - I assume you would obtain them from the serice dept of a dealer?

Don't ever imagine or assume anything with lr regarding parts, ...

Lr have them in stock and are cheaper than you would think looking at second hand prices
