That's why I use the skin. I take the phone out of it when I'm not in the car. It's the skin that has the velcro stuck to it.  |

That's what I've done for years.
Almost free and works brilliantly.
I actually put my phone in a thin plastic/rubber skin thing so the velcro is stuck to that rather than the phone itself and us ... |
