8nm - that’s not very tight. No surprise they came loose. It’s good they don’t have to be too tight as they’re a pig to access.

That bleeding doesn’t look straight forward unfortunately ð ...

Had another looks and tried to tighten the two Alan bolts next to the VCV. They were not nipped up. I have tightened them a bit and retried to start. No leak. It must have been running down onto the f ...

It is leaking from the fuel temperature sender.
I’ve tried to tighten it but it is right so assume I need to replace the unit or just the washer.

Not sure if connected but in the summer the fuel rail pressure relief valve was changed. Possibly the suction control valve was also changed. I wonder if my issues relate to that?

I don’t think it’s the VCV - you can see that quite easily from above - right?
It is quite a bit lower down - either bottom of pump, which you can’t see, or something lower.

These engines are new to me so excuse my lack of knowledge. Is this accessible? I would have thought it near the top of the engine but it’s clean up there.
