I charge my phone from an old lighter socket but that has stopped working. The illuminated fuse behind the lighter socket still lights up when I put the charger so I assume there is power.
Any ideas ...

Got someone in to sort out most of the woes. All seems fine now except one more gremlin.

Thanks for all the advice. I did manage to sort it. Was a broken wire.
It was in one of tose places that scrape the knuckles and bring on a bout of swearing lol.

The fuse seems to be ok and the bulbs work. Is it possible the brake light switch has gone?

Hi all
The drums on my defender were changed to disks before I had her. Now the pads need changing how do I know which ones to buy. Is there anything on the caliper that will ID the pads?
