spoke to Jim quite a lot, he had a series2a in bright yellow (he does not normally sell them) but had restored this one. Lovely job apart from the colour but too rich for me.

If you have fitted external LEDs all around then this will highlight any earth problems beacuse the LEDs draw so little power.

On my 300Tdi with a Pioneer radio I had the same problem and the solution was to just swap the 2 input wires around. Not sure where I got the informatiin from but the saved settings were not dumped.

Thanks Donald! Most of the wiring daigrams on the web suggest straight forward connections in parallel without a relay but the horns have 2 pins on those diagrams.

A bit wild out there now so given ...
