I'm totally expecting a delay and have mentally prepared myself! The dealer said early April but I'll be pleased if I get it before the end of the summer.

A diesel engine seems best for an off-road vehicle with the additional torque and low-rev pulling power. And with the D250 being six-cylinder, I imagine is very smooth.

Why the P300 over the D250?

Price is ultimately the same (I think the petrol works out about £500 more). 0-60 of the P300 is quicker, MPG of the D250 is better.
