Leave it off ,, i removed mine 15 years ago, never overheated, better mpg too, thats towing 3.5 tons also,, uphill ,downdale,  |

| Yeh the discovery R380 has the long inputsgaft and bellhousing, , this moves the gearshift quadrant etc,,back[ beside centre conssel] , as the defender shift is forward [ on the floor] |
