| In all honesty a standard Jimny is as off road capable as a standard Defender, mainly due to its lack of weight and its not like Defenders are the worlds most reliable vehicles !!!! |

| I presume you have a 2.2, if so check the boost pipe from the Intercooler to the Inlet manifold as they commonly rub on the Alternator pulley. |
