Other option is to reclaibrate the ECU properly, which when done virtually eliminates rev hang.
And I don't just mean a generic remap...
Personally I would leave the low range idle jack in place ... |

I'd use Brand new Denso Only - with page discount can do them for £155 + vat each including new seals.
Then £8.00 + vat for the 2x bolts needed.

I can do you brand new OEM injectors for £155 + vat each (if buying 4)

I've never had any luck with recon injectors... times have moved on since tdi days, but a lot of recon places haven't.
For Tdci 2.4 or 2.2 I would always use new - which will also have the correct ... |

Remove the battery from the fob... hold down the lock or unlock button for 10 seconds.
Refit battery and then press the lock or unlock button 5 or 6 times and it should 'resync'

I didn't build the car, but rebuilt the engine and converted to a Jag/LR hybrid.
Was on an emerald ECU... all calibrated by me. Was a potent thing.
