	Autocars images aren’t great but a small boxy vehicle is what LR needs. Just look at the Renegade, it’s done well for Jeep.

	It was the base S model with £6k of options (£2.5k 20"alloy and £1k retractable tow bar!!), total on the road price was £55k. Isn’t the S the one up from the base model?

	The LR guys told me that they could’ve brought the Defender back exactly as it left production but couldn’t as it’s not what the market wants unfortunately.
