can I check anything else before taking out the heater assembly box and resistor?

No relay, is feed directly to the heater assembly box

I'm not getting 12v on the purple /green wire connecting to the bulkhead or the 3 way connector switch or at the blower switches at the dash.

However I am getting 12v at the fuse box?

Thanks guys, being a novice I will try the WD40 for a few days. If not I will take out the Heater Box Assembly.

I assume the earlier motors have the same electrical connectors?

Thanks for the reply guys, I've tried again to move the fan by hand still no joy.

I can't seem to find any TD5 Heater Assembly boxes anywhere not even on ebay?

Its really annoying I can't just ...

How did you fit the rack ?

Did you remove the wiper arms and feed it through the spindle gearboxes so they spun as you fed it through ?

I wonder if you've got the older style rack instead of the ...

It is now stuck solid I can't move it either way.

Once it was on the driver side cog it got stuck.

Any ideas? This is turning into a nightmare
