Turns out it was a poor connection in the round connector on the abs pump. Local old school Land Rover specialist sorted it in minutes. : |

| Make sure that your gear lever is tightly fastened to the pivot pin shifter. I think it needs a 17mm spanner. Mine was loose and produced a sizzling type of noise |
