My rejected defender did have lots of whirring, clunking from the EPB. Land Rover assist said it was worryingly noisy but LR dealer said normal.

They reprogrammed the gearbox software for every gear individually which did help the rough gear changes and the surging forwarding and sudden stops but it didn’t stop the rolling back.
