This is a known problem with land rover, there is even a TSB on it!! the fuel breather is incorrectly positioned, and draws in water and mud etc. this then wrecks the high pressure fuel pump.

| The reverse light switch is on the side of the gearbox, you should be able to use this, rather than going straight to the reverse light. |

| Got a Td5 disco transfer box in my 300tdi, but thinking of a GKN overdrive as well, the transfer box with the Q gears is a little quieter, but not that noticeable, the higher ratio gears are a lot bet ... |

I found the best combination is yellow britpart std height springs and bilstein shockers. Gives good firm ride, not too harsh though!  |
