Spotlights - Am I being stupid?
Hi,

Took my LR OEM type spotlights off the car today, to give them a good clean (being LR parts they let in water and dirt, so the insides had got full of dirt).

The type are VUB500890 (the ones with the plastic horizontal 'grid' on the front).

However, on putting them back together, despite the fact that the bowls are attached to the front 'frame' of the lamps, when I put the lights back together, one of the lights has the reflector vertical, whereas no matter how I put it together, the other lamp's reflector is at an 'angle' (if that makes sense).

Have swapped the bodies and fronts over, but still the same. Can't work out why!! Is one supposed to be angled?

Aarggh!

Hmm....apparently no-one else seems to have these lights. Crying or Very sad

Will have to keep perservering.

To clarify, what I meant was that in one light the reflector at the back appears vertical (as I'd expect) whereas on the other one is as if it's rotated by about 30 deg.

I'm stumped!
