Engine question
Anyone know what this red part behind the engine is. It’s pretty loose and flaps around a bit, not sure if it’s a problem.

Its a lifting ring. I understand that many dealers removed it before delivery. It is also prone to cause chafing to the electrical harness. So remove it, keep it in a safe place for when you need to take the engine out.1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
