chassis / vehicle number?
not entirely sure if this is the chassis number or not - I'm referring to the metal id plate on / next to the brake servo.

I've just taken a look at it and it starts with e11*2007. being a laymen I'd guess the 2007 refers to the year of manufacture? Only mine was a 2010 (possibly 2011MY) model?

should I be concerned? (a bit late for that now) Smile

aha.
so 2007 would refer to the 'puma generation' presumably all 2.4 would have the 2007 reference?

You'll find the VIN in three easy places. 1) on a plate visible through the windscreen roughly where in the old days we used to stick the tax disc; 2) on the outer face of the FOS chassis leg just behind the bumper mounting (although not always easy to read); and 3) on your V5 registration document.
