Well the first week of November has passed and the lack of happy smiling faces on this thread is not encouraging. Update from my lot is still to prepare for delivery in the new year.

Axel, you seem to have the most definitive delivery date. Any joy??

If you look in Land Rover's website there is no mention of the 2.2 still shows Defender coming with 2.4. 993 Varioram - Guards Red

Well .... when I talked to my LR sales guy earlier today he still seemed confident that my car should arrive this week ... Let's wait and see ... Neutral

I'd only start counting your order when the thing arrives at the dealership and take a week from then. Most likley it's not left the Uk yet.

Went into dealership today to be told they've not even made any 2.2s yet....erm not sure i believe that but he's not heard of dealers having any.

He's put an order in for 3 2.2 defenders. Due to be built at end of Dec! Delivery sometime in Feb. I suspect that if the factory is building defenders at the moment they're working on a big order for a commercial/military customer which is why the 2.2s are not coming through very fast at all.

I've been told by LR Head Office that massive demand for the Evoque is slowing other models down.
