Removing factory axle breather
Feels like a foolish question, but any tips on removing the factory fitting from a (TDCi) axle breather? I'm trying to prise it out, but there doesn't seem to be enough of a lip to get any tool under.

The ones on my TD5 didnt put up too much of a fight. I just used a small screwdriver under the edge to unseat them. They came out okay once they had unseated.

You could try using a section of the pipe to try and pull on it to see if it will shift.

Belated thanks for the encouragement, rallysteve.

I eventually got it out by taking the wheel off and attacking from above with a sharp chisel.
