Scotch-Weld™ Preformed Sealant Strip 5313 is what you are looking for. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_LB/p/d/v000117662/ Heat it in you hand like with modeling clay, than apply in the gap and tape over with Gorilla tape or any other kind of tape. Happy water ingress hunt ![]() Ps: you should clean up all this old black seal and have a clean surface all arourd so the door seal will better do its job |

Thank you. I cleaned it up, applied new pads and sealant; now hoping for the best.. :-/
These were the butyl pads I was looking for https://www.lrworkshop.com/parts/LR028972 However, given p&p costs it was cheaper to buy 10m of alu butyl tape and cut off 2x 2cm strips ![]() May use the rest to patch up the barn's rain gutter, finally ![]() |
