 2016 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 HCPU Santorini Black
Confused LED light bar&reverse light
110 300 TDI. Separate switches for front bumper mounted LED light bar, rack mounted LED light bar and rear LED worklight. The front bumper LED works off the high beam and can be isolated by the switch. The rear LED worklight works when reverse is selected and can be isolated by the switch.

The problem child is the rack mounted LED light bar which comes on when reverse is selected and cannot be isolated by it's switch. So I blind anyone in front of me as I reverse away from them!!

Previous owner and wiring. Confused and wondering if anyone had some clues as to what it might be after hours of checking out wiring and coming up blank. Has a switch and a relay.

Sure it might be 'blindingly' obvious.... 1951 80" S1 2.0

sounds like the front led bar has two feeds. one from the switch and one from the rev light most probably via the rear led worklight. remove the latter, Cheers

Morning!

The rack LED light bar won't come on at all unless the reverse light switch is on. But the big LED reverse light comes on in reverse no matter what position the switch is in! It's weird. Need a lie down when I think of it all!! 1951 80" S1 2.0
