2012 Puma wiper motor and park sensor
Hi All
New to the forum but just reaching out to see if anyone has come across issue I’m having.

I have a 2012 TDCI puma and had been having the wipers playing up and not parking, knowing this is not as easy to get at as my old TD5 I decided to get new parking switch, new spindles and cable at the same time as if having to take dash out might as well change the lot.

Having now changed the lot and now putting back together thought I’d test the wipers before the dash goes back in, they worked the first wipe, parked and blew the 15amp fuse, replaced fuse but now just lifting stalk it blows.

Any help would be much appreciated as all I can think is the parking switch is faulty

Thanks Nathan

Might be worth checking you haven’t overtightened any of the fixings for the spindles or drove cable. Something may be causing the cable to jam, stopping the motor and then blowing the fuse.

Thank you for reply, you’re right by re checking, went back over, cleaned up grease that I had put on the electrical connections from re greasing the cable by accident and all worked.

Thanks again
Nathan
