The Land Rover hazard switch is part number YUF101490

Have you got the pin numbers correct
This drawing shows the rear of the connector, which corresponds with looking at the rear of the switch -
The wiring should be, as below -

Can you jump 7 and 8 to see if the switch is faulty? If it all works as it should you know it's a switch issue, no?

I’ve seen this before, the similar looking switch for a Mini is wired differently inside and doesn’t work!
