Bruised Right Leg
I'm getting a little bit tired of getting a brusied right leg when driving my Defender. Has anyone got/seen a replacement for the interior door handles? Something along the lines of a soft handle would do the trick....leather, webbing, etc.

Anyone? Mark

I got a pair of these:

Not cheap, but look great (especially in an XS), and since they're compliant, I no longer get bruised thighs.

Believe Mud-stuff also do some in nylon - Not as attractive looking, but do the job too.

Thanks chaps, the Naka ones do seem to be what I had in mind, I think....failrly steep for what they are though - are they that nice in the flesh?

Do you have those Mud ones Fekete....what do you think of them? Look like they may still dig in?

Any other options folks? Mark

I have the Mud Stuff version fitted.

I no longer notice the presence of the door pull. My only concern is wjhether long term the nylon webbing will last, although after six months use they still look as new. Now if only they made a similar handbrake. Very Happy

Yes, they are nice in the flesh. Thick saddle leather, and nicely finished. 'You pays your money, you makes your choice' as they say.... Smile

Fitted the MudStuff versions today. No more leg pain - they 'squash' up and out of the way and were cheap!! Cool

We have order some of the Nakatanega leather handles for stock. Hopefully they will be with us in the next few days.

I thought that too. Is the position different on Puma models? Darren

My door handle is a good 2" clear of my leg. But I could see it may be an issue if I had mud seat rails or thunder thighs Whistle
