Now that I’ve had my new P400e delivered I’m looking into installing a Lazer Linear-18 light bar into the lower grill using integrated fitting kit by Lazer. One question I have relates to the X-Dynamic badge on the grill, Is it removable? The reason I ask is that the light bar will extend partially over the area of the grill where the badge sits and the grill needs to be cut to fit the light bar.

Yes, it is clipped in place and quite easy to remove.
Next problem...... I need to feed the light bar cable from the relay to behind the lower grill where the light bar is being installed. According to the Lazer YouTube video, you just route it between the headlight and the radiator but they don’t actually show this in practice. I’ve looked at doing this but there doesn’t appear to be any openings to the space behind the grill. Finally managed to route the light bar cable successfully after getting advice from a technician from Lazer.
Just need to confirm that I’ve taken the 12v feed correctly. Yesterday I tried searching in the PowerfulUK videos on YouTube and couldn’t find where they mention this connection - in one of their recent videos Simon was installing an accessory and that connection next to the red positive charging post box was where he said what he was connecting should be connected and how kind of LR to add the feature! Yes, I also saw the Powerful Uk video so I reckon I’m okay. I’ve now come across another problem. After spending all day fitting and connecting yesterday, and successfully testing whilst on my drive. I took the car out for a run once it was dark but the light bar didn’t activate when I selected high beam. I assumed I’d got a faulty connection so I thought I’d leave until the morning before I investigated. I’ve now started my car this morning and the light bar came on the first time I selected main beam but now won’t reactivate after selecting dip beam and moving back to main beam. Problem now resolved.
The Earth I was using wasn’t good enough. Using a multimeter whilst the car was running highlighted that the earth wasn’t good enough. Reconnected via the factory earth pole. Do you have matrix lights? Did you have to cut into the loom to fit this kit?

I have seen some posts on FB groups that people have had to take their cars fitted with matrix headlights into the dealers to get their light bars coded so they will switch off when the matrix activates it’s “dip” pattern which isn’t really a “dip” Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

I have the Premium LED headlights, not the Matrix lights.
The Premium LED headlights have a 12v high beam trigger wire, which is what I've tapped into for triggering the Light bar relay using a POSI-TAP connector. I tested the light bar last night once it went dark. It throws out an impressive amount of light and is a significant improvement over the factory high beam.
The only issue is that it will only come on when you manually select high beam. If you have the lights set to auto with the auto high beam function enabled it does not come on. It would appear that the auto function uses a different wire to the manual high beam wire. You could view this as a good thing as it allows you choose if the light bar activates. I think I’d actually prefer to have it the other way round so that the auto system controls the light bar as it’s quicker than me in reacting to other traffic. Anyone know which wire on the headlight loom is fed by the AHBA? Yes, I'm aware of these devices. The company that supplied the light bar (Lazer Lamps) also supply these.
