Not a great time to be launching a new car
Not a great time to be launching a new vehicle when you see this happening.

England 2002 Defender 90 Td5 HT Epsom Green
it is a joke.

People (especially at this time and the foreseeable future) cant afford to pay for a family useable EV.

They certainly wont be buying one for their kids when they grow up and with the average pay of £19k they wont be financing one on PCP at £600 to £1,000 a month, let alone on average two vehicles per household.

And again the current problem of no parking and charging at home wont go away because you cant make a parking space for two if the space is not there........and just wait until pavement parking is banned, that alone is going to cause Mary hell for some of the roads near me (and i hate pavement parking, but its the only way you will get a lorry and bus down those roads).

And finally manufacturers cant afford to build cars that many don't want or can afford so then your back to less cars built, at a higher price to ensure profits and alienate the masses again.

The future is looking well and truly Censored up. If only there was a vehicle out there that can be rebuilt and kept going for ever......oh yeah, the Defender Classic.

Congratulations Spud by the way.....you survived Valentines Day Whistle

United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Orkney Grey
This gives me hope Smile

A common sense alternative to scrapping thousands of petrol and diesel vehicles, and maintaining the current infrastructure of "petrol" stations.

Ineos could play a big part in this future as a chemical company Wink

At the moment this new fuel is more than double the price of existing petrol/diesel, but I can see that gap narrowing in the future...
