Alarm ECA location
Hi, can anyone tell me where the alarm ECA (a10s?) is located in a 2012 red puma? I want to unplug the ultrasonic sensors, more trouble than they are worth.
Thanks

Pull the ultrasonic sensor out of the headlining (clips in) and unplug at the sensor.

Thanks Steve, I wasn’t sure if there would be a connector up there.

Or…..
The manual says “ By locking the vehicle with the key in the driver's door rather than using the remote RF handset.” I tried this (left the passenger door unlocked - no central lock-in), locked the car using driver’s door and the opened the passenger door. No alarm. Think I’ll just unplug the sensors and use the fob

yeah, no, locking with key will disable alarm completely (immobiliser and CDL will still be activated, though)

I though perhaps that it was just on the central locking versions. No worries, just disconnected the sensors easy once someone points it out!
