Maxtrax mounts
Afternoon

Has anybody made up their own side hinge system for storing Maxtrax? I've got 4 that I want to make use of and when we're away with the trailer they are as likely to be used for levelling the trailer as recovery. I did think there may be an opportunity to mount them on this side with some hinged brackets meaning I can double them up as a table.

I've seen various options including a really smart looking table option from rough parts (but nearly £500) and a simpler hinge set mud stuff (but again over £200). In its simplest form I'm looking to see if anybody has come up with a good DIY budget solution to mount a set of the standard pins (which themselves only cost £40)
Thanks Keith

I ordered the Rough Parts system but gave up waiting, they had it back in the end. Kevin’s system is a nice quality bit of kit ( I’d have that set up but it won’t fit with the Frontrunner gull wing)
I ended up putting 4 x M10 studs & using some big stainless eyes ( on the roof rack) to secure my maxtrax boards. You can also use eyes to bungee things to them.
Can’t show any photos as the truck is still in the container.

This is my D3, principle is the same though. Put some D rings on the trailer and some cargo straps, would imagine it’s the cheapest route.
