Hi.
Does anyone with factory fitted Goodyear Wranglers have any comments on noise levels for ordinary road use. I'm tempted by them, but partly because they look good! Not wanting them if they generate a lot of road roar.

Thanks in advance for any opinions.

I just changed my Goodyear Wrangler 20" ATs to a Michelin All-Season tyre. The Wranglers arent really noisy, but the standard road tyre is definitely quieter.

I'm running Wrangler AT Adventures. I don't think they are noisy. Been to Milan and back on them and the original Michelins and didn't notice any difference on each trip.

@dap2022
I’ve never had All-Season tyres before but I got these at a good price plus my selection was limited due to the size.
So far excellent, been in light snow and there is good grip, as much as the Goodyears in normal driving.

Morning all,

I just ordered the Duratec’s to go onto my V8.

Can I just check I ordered the right size?

I got 255/60R20s

They look great on that Pangea truck above!

That is one of the two sizes shown on the tyre sticker on the driver’s door, the other being the 22’s.

they are the Q’s, said they were the only in stock.

However they are the winter wheels and we live in the UK.

So 99mph + is unlikely for any period more than a few seconds LOL

I will save the stupidity for the summer on our trip to Zurich, then it will have the 22’s for the autobahn with summer tyres…

Have just swapped my standard issue Continental Cross 19" tyres for a set of Goodyear Adventure All-Terrain (second-hand with rims). Didn't notice any difference in noise at all on motorways or locally.

I just got my V8 and swapped the 22inch continentals for 20inch on Duratracs.

They are noisier, but they are seriously chunky and look much cooler so I can live with it!

Old vs new in the photos.

It’s also a V8 so noise is relative Smile
