Oil Leak

I have an oil leak! First noticed as a result of smell of hot/burning oil and on inspection I found oil deposited on the inside 10mm of the flat side of the aux drive belt. At the same time I noticed that the power steering fluid was a little low so assumed the pump to be the culprit. However having topped that up and had the belt of and cleaned the belt and the inside of the pump drive wheel I concluded taht was not it.

So I have run it for a few days with the engine cover and the fan shroud removed to have a good look and I have concluded that it is coming from the large bolt head arrowed in the picture. Anyone know what this is? Is it a common problem!?

Thanks

That is the timing chain tensioner.

It is not a know leaking point to my knowledge. Have you tried to tighten it?

It seals with the copper washer that you can see in your picture.

Excellent thanks! No not tried to tighten as not easy to get a spanner on!
