The eBay ones I ordered were not a good fit (the back door one is okay) Sad
So I have ordered these yrm ones just now - fingers crossed...

I've used yrm for some Series parts - they seem a fairly straight company so hopefully your sills willl be OK

So they arrived Very Happy
The rear door thresher is an exact stainless replica of the original. Fits perfectly Thumbs Up
The side threshers are supposed to slot into/under the frame and just sit on the sill, poking down into the foam seal below it. However, I think LR's "build consistency" is a problem as they won't quite fit in mine (and I scratched the paint a bit trying). I will take the more complicated (but more professional) option and cut them down a bit, drill them out and bolt them down with the existing bolts. Not looking forward to it much though as marking them "blind" for drilling is never fun...
I'll let you know how I get on Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Sod it - imminent thresher postponement Sad
Fitted the rear door gas damper today (brilliant bit of kit from Nakatanenga) and looking forward to doing the threshers tomorrow (still not raining)... suddenly wife insists I replace the shift rod bushing in her Beetle (1974) - okay, so it has taken me 3 months Rolling Eyes but still...
Oh well, at least whilst fitting the damper I got the chance to re-admire the stainless thresher at the back Thumbs Up and with the back door staying open (we live on a slope) it won't decapitate the dog again Wink
The saga continues...
Have a great evening all

Well... sorry I have to admit I've put the project on hold for a little while. I'm work-stressed, have no cover and it's cold here at the moment (into the minuses) and constantly raining (at least whenever I get any time) - whine, whine Big Cry
As you know, the first "quick fit" plan suggested by the supplier (YRM) failed and I had to re-paint some nasty scratches before rust set in. Proper fitment would mean copying the Nakatanenga cutting/drilling pattern. However, although I had previously written off Nak's stainless threshes as they didn't have any to fit the the new-style door seals, they have since told me they are working on a new version and that it should be available mid-November. I have put another Nak order on hold until then to save postage, if it comes to that.
So I am in a dilemma as I want to "do it myself" but also want a really high standard of finish in minimum time.
Also the kit will be 200+ Euros Shocked but... Nak gear is usually the dog's Censored .
I can only say I am jibbing out for now and waiting for divine guidance (or at least a dry sunny day).
I'll post whenever I figure out what to do.
Cheers
