TD5 rear washer jet button
Can anyone let me know which wire behind the switches is the correct one to control the rear washer jet pump please. What colour/location in the dash is it?

I plan on using this for controlling a relay instead and have the replacement switch already.

Thanks in advance.

Next question if I may.

Any idea how I can release these metal connectors from the plug? I assume a drawing pin but I can’t figure out how. Thanks

Ok have figured out how to release the metal bits from the plug. For those wondering come in from the front with a long drawing pin and lift up whilst also pulling the wire out from the rear. See photo.

Now on to my next question. How can I have the button glow when driving lights are on? And how can I have the little red led glow when the switch is activated (latched).

Thanks everyone.

As long as you’ve got the correct donor latching switch and follow the wiring diagram below you should be good…
