Various modules off line - electrical issue.

No water ingress but various electrical issues. Engine cutting out, lock/unlock inoperative, ignition button inoperative, main dash/speedo display goes black. Leave it a while and it will lock/ unlock, start then cut out after a few seconds. Infotainment display stays on, power steering works but not much else.

LR Assist diagnosed possible comms fault as various modules were offline .

Cant complain about LR Assist, they turned up as agreed and provided a replacement vehicle albeit its not a Defender. 2021 90HT Fuji with Black Pack, 22" Sawblades

Received an update by text from the dealer. "Your vehicle requires a new Body Control Module, we have this on order. I will be in touch soon with another update." 2021 90HT Fuji with Black Pack, 22" Sawblades

Mine had to get an update applied to the body control module when it was suffering with constant 2WD warnings. Hopefully you get it back soon! 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I also had that recurring 2wd fault that took several visits to the dealer to rectify.
I have had around 12 months of trouble free running and I thought that all the problems were in the past.
Not sure how long I should expect to wait for the new Body Control Module. 2021 90HT Fuji with Black Pack, 22" Sawblades

This is why the new Defender will devalue like all other LR’s once it’s out of warranty. It’s going to be an absolute head fry with gremlins as it ages. The insane 2nd hand prices won’t last. 2008 2.4 110 Utility XS.

I don't think I'm brave enough to keep it out of warranty. 2021 90HT Fuji with Black Pack, 22" Sawblades

Body control module ordered Wednesday, fitted and returned to service by Friday. Excellent service from Pentland Landrover - Stirling. 2021 90HT Fuji with Black Pack, 22" Sawblades

Disco 4's seem to be doing okay out of warranty, apart from the 3.0 V6 crankshaft issues.

My friend has just sold his 2016 for £30,000
