If you inadvertently get air in the fuel line, you can bleed the line without the landy tool.

You disconnect the fuel line where the bleeding tool goes in.

Now you put rags tightly around a compressor pipe.

Stuff the rags and pipe tightly into the tank filler cap.

Switch on the compressor and let the fuel flow from the open fuel line in engine bay.

When the fuel flows freely without air, you just reconnect the fuel line and start the vehicle.

After the vehicle runs you remove the compressor pipe.

Learnt that a puma does not have a jacking pump the hard way, in the bush, far from a dealership. It also cost less and you don't carry additional parts, that you don't need on a long trip. 2009 Landrover Defender 130 Puma

I'm confused about disconnecting the fuel line where the bleeding tool goes in.
Where is located that connector in the engine vane ?

The connector is situated on th common rail above the injectors. It has a small red or blue clip that you press in to "unclip" the fitting. The clip is fairly tight and you have to pull it out straight out of the line. It is a small ~8mm line, with the clip being a ~15mm plastic fitting. There is two of these fittings, one at the front of the rail and one at the back. One is red and one blue if I recall correctly. The fitting work similar to those wiring loom clips with a locking mechanism to keep the loom from separating.

Kinda difficult to explain. I will try to upload a picture a bit later today.

It will only be necessary to follow my procedure if you allow air into the system. Doing the service on an uphill can do that. All the fuel syphons back into the tank... 2009 Landrover Defender 130 Puma

MD5 Sorry about the delay in posting a picture. I have been busy for the last couple of days. I dont have a picture available, but i can provide a link to a thread where the landrover lift pump was discussed in detail. On the first page of the thread AndrewS posted a bunch of pictures. The last picture on the page indicates a blue fitting, circled to make it easier for you to identify. This is the plug that you should undo if you need to bleed the fuel system as I indicated previously.

There is actually two of these plugs on the fuel line, at opposite sides of the common rail. If I recall correctly mine was blue and red, or it might just have been blue. You press the plug with your fingers and then it should slide out easily. Dont try to wiggle or force it, it should come out easily.

MK has posted the same hint as me in the thread mentioned. His post is the last post in the thread currently...
