Bonnet latch
Hi all

Can I just pick your brains? Both the bonnet latch catches move when I wiggle them. Is this normal?

It’s the black part with the black nut on that moves…

Yes, that's not normal. Try tightening it a bit.

There’s no more turns left on the black nut to tighten it. There’s around about 5mm of play to both sides?

I noticed that on mine too. Both hoops a little loose but not as much movement as yours. I decided that it’s probably designed that way, maybe to allow some ‘self alignment’. The catches were all dry so I gave them a thin smear of grease while I was there.

Mine moves too. No worries, just leaving as is.

Just checked my '22 D90 P300. Both of mine have the same wiggle. Weird.
