It was huge and didn’t look good in the flesh. The rear seat (6&7) step was getting terrible feedback. Poor Landrover staff were a bit frazzled by all the negativity.
The new FF RR was so lovely. Not normally for me but wowzers 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

I think they’ve got the new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport spot on. 130 I’m not sure on, I think they’ve missed a trick with it. The 90 as well. 23.5MY 90 D250 X-Dynamic SE, Pangea Green Gone - 23MY 110 D250 XS Edition, Hakuba Silver Gone - 21MY 90 D200 S, Tasman Blue, Fuji White roof. |

Anyone heard anything new on 130 deliveries- my dealer says they've heard nothing at all?
To be honest I'm getting a bit scunnerred on the radio silence from LandRover on when deliveries will start, if the new BMW X7 arrives in showrooms before the 130 I'll probably end up going for that |

Therein lies my problem...........
As Del-Boy says- "This time next year we'll be millionaires" or even Kenny Dalgleish - "mibeez aye, mibeez naw" Whole thing is nuts really, why launch a car for sale without even giving an inkling of planned start to deliveries, don't even know if production line has started on them yet or not I fully expect that there will be a wait time from ordering a new car, but at least one would have a rough guesstimate on when it would arrive but this radio silence malarkey just rips my knitting |

Cash flow. Get the deposits in and reinvest the money. Hence the company can show money made without the inconvenience of money spent on production. The other month we were waiting for an endowment to be paid out, wife phoned the day after the original letter to say when we would get it to be told it would take 14 days. Within her company they move transactions in the millions of dollars at the press of a button, they even pay African farmers directly to their mobile phones due to lack of local banks. I won’t offend anyone with the words she used at the time….. So cash flow looks good, company happy, shareholders happy, banks happy, investors happy……..consumer……not so. The latter these days seem to be less and less important in the overall scheme of capitalism. Keep an eye on Ineos with the Grenadier. It won’t survive on promises only. |
