2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Santorini Black

Central Scotland - good garages?

Any recommendations? Stirling/Perth ideally but happy to travel, need some drivetrain/suspension clunk diagnosis, had it in for full service at specialist but they fobbed me off without looking at any of the things I asked them to and two local garages claim not to have tools to do things like a-frame ball joint.

Who fobbed you off? I've used a few different places in Edinburgh but with no bad results, then again I've gone in and asked for a specific thing to be done / fitted and not diagnosed.

I've heard many many good things about MMP ^ shame im not closer.

strathearn engineering just outside of gleneagles (aberuthven) have sorted me out on a number of occasions and have been very helpful and well priced. I would happily recommend them.

Thanks, will try Gemm or Strathearn, though the latter never got back to me last time I tried. Don’t want to flamed but it was an Edinburgh based one with a fancy brand, annoyingly, despite telling me several times they’d stamp the service book couldn’t even manage that…

Strathearn Engineering would get my vote- really helpful guys whenever we have used them.

A good friend of ours who is local also recommends them
