Hood drainage channel for 130 hi-cap
Hi All

Bought a used set of hood sticks and hood for my 130 double cab / hi cap. looks like its missing the drainage channel that the front of the hood locates on. Does anyone know if this is the same part as used on a 90/110 with the hi-cap tubs / hood being wider I wasn't sure?

All I can find on the parts diagrams etc is MUC7923 listed for a 90/110, if anyone has got a picture of a factory 130 setup would be really handy Wink

Regards
Ben

quick edit

The front of the hood doesn't look like theres anywhere for the alloy channel to go either so not sure quite how it goes together or whether not all hoods use that front fixing?

Cheers

I'm thinking the series 3 HCPU diagram is more correct for the 130? so the hood retains to the rear tub rather than the rear cab/window panel?

Hi there,

This is what I have (MY2011 130) - hood fits to the (shoddy looking) piece of alu angle on the tub itself & not the cab. It was actually fitted upside down when I got the car, and therefore did nothing!

Cheers

Cool, thanks
That part at least is cheap enough, looks like bolts rather than the £10+ each dzus are the way to go too looking at yours.

Thumbs Up
The bolts *look* factory - they are identical in style & finish to many others around the vehicle (tailgate catch bolts, rear seat retaining bolts etc). But all they have to do is hold down a flimsy piece of angle. Good luck… 2011MY 130 HCPU: daily driver
