Post rebuild TD5 dilemma
OK spent a fortune on my pride and joy.

New chassis, springs, shocks, rebuilt bulkhead (was a bit rusty - but saveable), clutch, intercooler, steering box, etc etc. You name it - it has been done (except the body which I wanted left as it was)- and to a very high standard. Serious amount of work and lots of £££!

But now car back, some of the love has gone.

Had it for over 10 years , have a new LRD on order, only do 1k miles a year in it - which might reduce when/if new LRD arrives.

Might not recover all the recent cost, but thinking of selling.

Do others get the post rebuild blues?

Have you lost the love because it’s almost to nice/expensive to use as intended? 2008 2.4 110 Utility XS.

No plans to change use (pottering about exmoor, local town, bit of shooting etc), but have unusual feel for car.

Strange, but expect once I have driven it a bit more the old feelings will return.

If somebody else did it I can understand it isn't your Landy anymore.

I build/rebuild (a few times) my own, then it will become a part of you. Roel
