Pretty similar to us, we got the distinct impression that it would be easier to get a HSE than an SE with the options like pano roof and coloured roof (all standard on HSE)and certainly avoid clear sight

Well... I've had my 110SE for a couple of weeks now, was delivered almost exactly 9 months after the order was placed. Fantastic to drive, getting better MPG than I was expecting, love the practicality of the car, worth the wait in that respect, however the delivered spec was quite different from what I first ordered.

The 'missing bits' fall into three categories.

1) Items that I was advised would be gone when I had to reorder for the MY23: Digital dash, Matrix lights, Clearview mirror, manual adjustable column

2) Items that were changed for the MY23 but I wasn't informed about: Sunglass holder (why?), Click & go in the front seat backs, only 2 USB sockets in the rear, soft close on rear door, nets not solid pockets on back of front seats.

3) Items that were on the build list and order but taken off by LR and a surprise when picked up: 11.4" screen.

Of all the missing bits the larger centre screen and the sunglass holder have annoyed me the most, in part because the bigger screen was added as a sweetener for not getting the digital dash. I hate the analog dash, its functionality is barely adequate and there is no was to get the off-road info on it that I can find.

Unhappy how Land Rover and the dealer handled the whole situation, although the dealer has given me a couple of 'good will' gestures. Good job I love the car though! MY22 110 D250 SE > MY23 110 D250 XS Edition > MY24 110 D300 HSE X-Dynamic

Missing bits
Just been over mine and it has the same bits missing. Sunglasses holder (was told some baloney that the space was needed to house some electronics specific to HSE so is blanked off with a shiny black panel eh?). The second row only has 2 USB C sockets. The rear door has no soft close. The seat backs have nets and no USB sockets. The 23my build specification did include these various items.
I’ve given it its first wash and spotted the pano roof seal is damaged. Looks like it could let water in, so that’ll be the first warranty fix. Didn’t take long to spot.

Hmmm... the HSE electronics excuse doesn't stand up because mine's an SE and I have the same shiny black panel. The previous model year had the holder too... sounds like that was made up on the spot Wink I'd guess it's just a cost saving thing like the seat back pockets, the click and go, the USB sockets, soft close etc... Or maybe they have surveyed the customers and those things were not being used? I'm not fussed about most things except the screens and the sunglasses holder as I keep glasses in the car. All the other important tech like the Tow pack, off-road pack was supplied thankfully. MY22 110 D250 SE > MY23 110 D250 XS Edition > MY24 110 D300 HSE X-Dynamic

After a little more than the 18-20 weeks I was told to expect, in fact 54 weeks, I finally get to pick up our 110 P400e X-Dynamic HSE tomorrow.

It should have been Saturday but when the dealer tried to register the vehicle on Friday they experienced a system error. Still we’ve been having fun in a new Discovery Sport P300e R-Dynamic HSE the dealer provided till ours is ready.

On the theme of things missing, mine has all the above missing but also no lock on fuel filler cap, no TPS on spare wheel and no gear change paddles on steering wheel (or is that just me thinking we’re some on the car I test drove all those months ago?).

15.5months for me.... I didn't order the P400e back last April as I was told the wait would be over a year. Mine arrived last Friday but sadly the delay, service, and the fact the X545E has been so good, has put a nail in the Defender ownership and I sold it on this morning. Didn't even drive it.

P400 sound nice though and very "angry" on start up.
